Schibsted’s partnership with Adnuntius challenges the advertising industry
The programmatic advertising market has long been characterized by complexity and high costs. Often, a significant portion of the budget goes toward technology rather than the ad itself, creating challenges for both advertisers and publishers. Now, the Norwegian adtech solution Adnuntius is making its way into Sweden, promising increased efficiency and full transparency in programmatic buying, with Schibsted on board.
A Growing Presence in Sweden
Adnuntius launched in the Swedish market a year ago, already partnering with Schibsted Media and Aller Media at the time. Now, Bonnier News has also come on board.
Adnuntius’ technology minimizes intermediaries, ensuring that a larger portion of advertisers’ investments goes directly toward media purchases.
– We’ve developed technology that allows advertisers and publishers to connect directly through our platform, cutting out unnecessary technical intermediaries. This creates a straightforward, efficient, and transparent process. Based on results from the Norwegian market, we’re delivering around 30 percent more impressions for advertisers, while also generating about 30 percent more revenue for publishers—all within the same media budget as before, says Clara Grelsson, CEO of Adnuntius Sweden.
A Win-Win for Publishers and Advertisers
Adnuntius aims to strengthen Swedish news media in their competition against global tech giants. Schibsted has been part of Adnuntius’ journey since its Swedish launch and views the partnership as a strategic move to broaden and develop the programmatic advertising landscape.
– Schibsted is naturally committed to supporting broad and diversified tech development, and we see Adnuntius as a refreshing addition. The fact that it benefits both us as publishers and advertisers makes it a win-win,” says Michael Hili, Director of Sales at Schibsted Marketing Services.
In addition to Schibsted Media, Bonnier News, and Aller Media, Adnuntius is also partnered with Stampen, NTM, Tradera, Västerbottens-Kuriren, Life Of Svea, Nenda, Adprofit, and Leeads.
