New self-service tool aims to simplify print ad purchases for media agencies in Sweden
Schibsted, in collaboration with Bonnier News, Stampen, and Mediekompaniet, has launched Rialto, a new self-service tool designed to make it easier for media agencies in Sweden to book print ads. The platform, developed by Atex, brings together products from several of Sweden’s largest media houses in one place, streamlining the previously complex booking process.
Simplified print booking process
Historically, booking print ads has been a challenge for media agencies due to numerous manual steps and different systems. With Rialto, the publishers aim to create a shared platform that meets the market’s demand for simplicity and efficiency.
– It’s exciting that, together with other publishers, we can now take a major step towards simplifying the process of booking and purchasing print ads and creating strong campaign effects, says Alexander Lydecker, COO at Bonnier News.
Björn Aronsson, CEO at Mediekompaniet, adds:
– We’re streamlining and modernizing our services so that what may have previously seemed complicated is now just a click away.
Print still relevant in a digital era
Even though digital channels dominate and media houses continue to acquire more digital customers, print is still an important part of marketing. With proven effectiveness and a focus on sustainability, print ads remain a valuable complement to digital campaigns. Rialto is a step towards optimizing print products and ensuring a sustainable future for print publishing.
Joakim Flodin, CEO at Schibsted Marketing Services, emphasizes:
– We’ve managed to establish a collaboration around a shared platform that benefits the market and customers, while we will each continue to compete on audience value, quality, and price.
Positive feedback from the market
Several media agencies, including Dentsu, have already started using Rialto, and the response has been positive. Marie Strand, PMO at Dentsu, highlights how the tool helps streamline workflows and creates opportunities to focus on developing the market.
Anna Bengtsson, Sales Director at Stampen, comments:
– It’s so important for us as an industry to constantly optimize our workflows, processes, and make our products and services available in a way that makes it easy to buy and use them.
A shared initiative for the future
The launch of Rialto demonstrates the strength of collaboration between Sweden’s leading media houses. By creating a shared platform, media agencies can access print products from several publishers in one place. At the same time, it strengthens the conditions for print to remain an important part of the media mix in the future.
With Rialto, print advertising is just a click away—easier, faster, and more accessible than ever before.
